SEC · 01
Product Overview
This harness fans an IDC ribbon interface into individual wires, crimp terminals or tinned ends. Each ribbon position needs a named destination, wire identifier and breakout length; wire color alone is not a reliable circuit definition.
Application Scenarios
- Control boards, communication modules, industrial equipment and test fixtures
- Board-to-board extension, daisy-chain and ribbon-to-discrete breakout wiring
- Maintenance or legacy equipment programs requiring clear pin mapping
- Batch builds where polarity, wire order and crimp quality must stay consistent
Custom Options
- Pin count, pitch, cable length, node spacing and connector orientation can be customized
- Polarized keying, strain relief, labels and color coding can be added
- Dual-ended IDC, daisy-chain and breakout structures are available
- Inspection can cover continuity, wire order, polarity and crimp integrity
RFQ Inputs & Material Requirements
Provide the IDC header and socket parts, full position-to-wire map, discrete terminal BOM, wire specification, breakout and strip dimensions, labels or numbers, branch protection and point-to-point continuity criteria.
